CARC Feb. meeting

I would like to attend as well. I have been out of the hobby for a while and would enjoy becoming part of this group. I have finally settled down and plan to start a reef again soon. I may have already met some of you. I worked with Brian for a while.

Is there a 'for sure' mtg location? Bryan suggested Up the Creek Fish Camp, and also there is Brandon's house... Wondering if I missed something definitive. Wherever it is though, my girlfriend and I are coming.

For the 'equipment swap' of the mtg - I'll throw out that I'm looking for a different skimmer. Have a SeaClone unit, however, this thing is no good. I've been running it for 2 weeks and all of the reviews that say it's no good seem to be dead on (it came with the tank when we got it). Also, would pick up a ballast for a 150W MH. If anyone's got these for sale, please give me a heads up! Thanks. See you all saturday.

I guess it is at my house. sat at 2pm I live in Kimberly. I will have some snacks and a few drinks. If any one wants to bring anything they can. Exit 275 off of 65N take right toward Hwy 31, turn left on 31, go to the red light at morris and turn right, go to the second stop sign and turn left go up two more stop signs and turn left, it is the second house on the right.

dsm john I have a 150 watt metal halide viper and ballast I would sell for $100, I also have a 29 gal with some stuff in it I am trying to get rid of if anyone is interested.

I'll be there. I have a couple of 70W metal halide ballasts I might bring. The milli I got at the last meeting is doing well, anyone want a frag of it?
...JIM...

I'll bring some Milo's tea and Doritos to the meeting.

Does anyone have good live sand in their tank that they could bring on Saturday? I need a small cup to seed my sand bed with some good creatures that you don't get from the bagged stuff.

Hey i would love to come. I have been out of the hobby for a while and i set up a new tank about a month ago. oh and sculdermut i can bring a cup of sand from my dads 55g if you want its been running for about 4 yrs, pretty much a FOWLR but the sand has lots of good stuff in it.

Hey Guys,

Glad to see that there is another scheduled meeting!Keep it going, as there are too many excellent hobbyist in our area, not to have a reef club. I, as I mentioned at last meeting, am now in the "Spring Cleanout" season, of my pond business. Unfortunately/fortunately, I am having to work this Sat. Self-employment, love it or leave it. So.. I have to back out of this one, but will try to make the next. Keep the momentum going, and all the frags recieved at last meeting are in the Science Centers tank and doing well!

Brian

The new baby arrived yesterday evening so I won't be able to make the meeting tomorrow. I will be at the next meeting though and will have some Pom Pom Xenia if any one is interested. I hope this meeting goes well.

I am going to be pruning my Ceato in the next week or so "probably after the baby comes home from the hospital" if anyone needs some, let me know.

Oh yeh, the baby was a boy, weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and was 22" long.

I'll be there for sure. Could you PM me your addy so I can use the nav? My aunt lives right off Morris Majestic but I get there through the back way from Trussville so your directions are not useful to me. I am interested in that Viper light as well.

My address is 570 Crane St. Kimberly AL 35091 for those of you with GPS. Phone # is 205-267-7486 if anyone gets lost. See everyone shortly. The BBQ is smelling good.
