Cardinals, clowns, or gobies

I am interested in breeding either cardinals, clowns, or gobies. I was wondering which would be the easiest. I am interested in Randall's Shrimp Goby, but I cannot find anyone that has heard of breeding them yet. Any advice would be great.

Out of everything I've tried, Clownfish have been the easiest to rear, but as a general rule, the Bangaii Cardinalfish would hands-down be the easiest (provided you don't have a male like mine that routinely eats the eggs). Basically the rest of the Cardinalfish have short incubations and pelagic larvae - the Bangaii is very atypical in the Cardinalfish.

Easiest? Bangaii cardinals by far, but the downside is low production and since they do all the work you really won't learn much. It's a lot like raising guppies, just collect the young and feed 'em

Clowns are generally considered the best beginner species. They are fairly easy to master but will give you the skills and experience you'll need fo more complicated species.

thanks for the info...i think that i'm going to try clowns...do you think that they will be okay in a 12 g aquapod?

The broodstock would be, but you'll need more tanks for larval rearing & growout etc..

gobies are tunnel and burrow fish so you'd need to set the tank up in such a way to just find the nests.

i have never read anything about breeding. i big of a tank would you need for clowns and gobies?

thanks...I actually have the clowns already..i bought two black perculas which I am trying to pair right now..everything seems to be going okay..i am looking for an anemone to buy now, but I am unsure of which one I will get..

can't they breed with out one or you getting one just for the heck of it
i cant remeber if they need one..
