Caribbean Pistoal shrimp HELP! Missing an ARM

I went to the local fish store the other day to buy some live rock. I ended up buying this huge rock with a bunch of tunnels and holes in it. Along came a hitchiker, PISTOL SHRIMP. I picked up the rock to put it in the tank and out fell a pistol shrimp and when he fell to the floor. He lost an arm. the Small call . he still has his pistol claw. So what do i do now? will he eat? he has been hiding in the hole for a few days now. I been putting food next to the hole so he can eat. You think he will recover his arm and how long? anyone help!

i'll get a picture of him as soon as he comes out of his little hole.
