I have a Carolina frag that has been ****ed in my tank for a couple months now. I have seen little to no growth. Color has browned out for the most part and in between its base(s) it is dying off a little and it looks like some brown slime algae has started growing there.

Now this is where im at. I dont see the death moving up more. It seems like its stopped, or slowed ALOT. Polyps are still out in both daytime and at night. Im curious as to what you would do.

Should i cut a head or 2 off just to make sure i dont loose the entire thing? Its a 2"x2" frag and i can definitely clip off a 3-4branched head.

Thanks fellas
David

if you are sure the recession has stopped, I would let it be. Just watch it closely and be prepared to cut a couple of frags off if it continues

Its a coral that requires a bunch of flow, and doesnt really need a ton of light for whatever thats worth

Came home and it moved up more, so i fagged a bunch of babies. Hoping for the best, but i think its a lost cause :/
