carpet anemone eats hermit crab

I hav a carpet anmeone it is about 4 inches around. I looked at it this morning and there is a hermit crab minus the shell on it. The top part of its foot is very swollone it has the whole foot extended and is swaying back and forth. Is it possible it could have swallowed the shell and that is why the top part of the foot looks like it is really swollen?

Totally possible. He'll spit it out eventually.

Yup possible, My two Haddoni's eat turbo snails like its their job! all I find is the leftover shells near their bases.

I was worried because the foot is so swollen as long as it is going to be ok.
