Carpet anemone in a 24 gallon?

I have had a 24 gallon reef setup for over a year with 150 MH. I am wondering if anyone has had any success keeping a smaller carpet anemone (not mini carpets) in a nano. The reason I am asking is that I would like to rescue a small carpet anem that is destined for gloom under low light at a LFS which would eventually be given away or sold when it starts to outgrow my tank.
The one that i saw was extremely small (about 3 inches) and appeared to be somewhat healthy. It would make a nice addition to my reef ....2 black clowns would love it.... but I do have a couple of questions...

How fast do they grow?
Do they move around like BTA's? ( reason I ask is b/c I have various acros spread throughout the tank)
Is this a good idea?

If anyone has any success or horror stories keeping carpets in smaller tanks, please let me know and post pics if you have em. Thanks in advance

It may move, but will normally keep the movement confined to the sand bed. Haddoni carpets, even small ones are able to catch and eat fish almost as big as they are.

I have had a 10-12" haddoni in a 20 gal. reef tank for almost 10 years now. The more you feed them the faster they grow. I feed mine about once a month in addition to the small amounts of food it gets when I feed the clowns daily, and it grows very slowly.
