Carpet Anemone QT or not

should I pull him out or not?
I don't want him to take out the tank...

sometimes you can see the mouth bubble up like in the pictures


so my question is how do you know when to pull them out?

Maybe pm Gary M. re: the condition of this critter? Typically a mouth of any anemone that has that appearance, is a BAD omen.

Haddon's anemone doesn't require the intense lighting Stichodactyla gigantea does.

That being stated, I don't know if this anemone is a gigantea or haddoni.
(I would GUESS haddoni.)

One good tip I can share is research species before purchase because Haddon's anemone is easier to keep alive than gigantea.

If this anemone is still curling up today like seen in the earlier pix it's probably a goner.
 
Is it's foot still strongly attached to something? They also seem to not grab hold of stuff if they aren't doing well.
