carpet anemone

Wouldn't recommend unless you know what you're getting into. Its very hard to find healthy carpets that last long term in this hobby.

Yup- I've never had one thrive for more than 3 months-maybe i just suck at it, so RBT for me.

Thanks everyone, yeah I know all about it! it took me awhile to be good at keeping bt's and now want to get a carpet something different... question I had a separate tank for my rbt because of the fear of it moving I a mostly sps tank and go figure it never moved! What’s the take on carpets I know they can move if they want or are unhappy etc but is it true for the most part that they stay low and settle in?

They will move where ever they feel right at. Could go behind rocks or right in where you put it. If you don't have a moonlight I would recommend one. Wandering, sleeping fish will become easy food for carpets. I hope that helps

the tend to like to place there foot underneath a rock under the sand. however like ding says, they either sit tight, or walk around all over

I guess I should set up another tank then! Boy my wife is not going to like the sound of that… lol now where to put it ;)
