Carpet Anemones best way to keep them happy?

what kind of carpet? carpets are not beginner anemones typically. Hows longs your tank been up and what are your params, lighting, flow, etc?

Haddoni carpet is not hard to take care of, similar to bta from my experience. But like Lily said, anemones are not easy animals. What's your setup?

I strongly suggest to anyone interested in anemones to invest in a small hospital setup and stock antibiotics, especially if they are interested in carpet anemones due to how common infections are.

It's best to have a mature and stable system with quality (t5, led or MH) and sufficient light and make sure you have room for how big they get, not how big it is when you buy it. Even bubble tips get 12"+ in six months in a happy tank.

I brought a whole setup 2nd hand from a guy who was an experienced reefer so i have a Red Sea Max 650s i am running the same lights he had which is the T5 setup I am unsure what bulbs etc as I am still learning about lighting, I am running a Vortech Mp40 on on side and the other flow pumps that the tank comes with are also running.

All tests done with Red Sea test kits:
Salinity: 1.026
PH: 8.2
Nitrate: 10 ppm
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia:Between 0.2 & 0.4

Tank has been running for around 4 & half months

Stability, especially Alk, is crucial for anemone health. Everything else should be OK as long as you have the room for them.

Don't add anything to the tank if you're showing ammonia. It's toxic to fish and inverts. How's the tank stocked and what type of filtration are you using?
