Carpet Question

So he started to move around the boulder and into the open and out into the light and I thought maybe you were right it is a she but now he has retreated again away from the boulder into the very back corner of the tank under a couple of return lines and way too close to the powerheads, I think he is suicidal.

He till looks fine, no gaping mouth or anything but how long can he go without light? Also, I have not fed him at all, should I give him something?

It's difficult to assess the whole situation over there from here but I would place a strong power head SECURELY above this anemone and let it get pushed from the corner. Obviously, be extremely careful with any water pump that's near an anemone. Feeding her will only encourage it to stay put.

I ended up carefully peeling the anemone off the back of the tank and moving it down to the bottom tank, I surrounded it with rock and it has its foot planted and hasnt moved. My only concern now is that it will have enough light under my T5's.

Thanks for your help Gary.

haddoni does not need the intense lighting gigantea requires.

If it wanders again then you know it needs more light... or food... or water flow :spin3:
