Should I remove this pink tip as soon as I can ?...I know they like to roam around alot, and I'm worried it may affect my carpet. The only reason it's in my tank is an emergency. My neighbors tank cracked and he needed somewhere to keep it, but I'm uncertain as to how long he was planning on me being a surrogate owner.
