carpets and t5 lighting

Hello everyone

Just had a quick question on lighting for a carpet anemone.
I have the tek lighting from sunlight supplys its the one with 6 bulbs would this be enough for a carpet

how big is the tank and how many watts is the the light?

Most likely it would be fine. T-5s are comparable to MH except in tanks that are deeper than 24 inches or so.

you should be just fine. 6 54 watt bulbs will give you about 6 watts per gallon but put him up him up higher in the tank.

Sorry to tell you this but with a carpet you cant put him up higher. They live in the sand bed of your tank. I have one under 6 T5's and its doing great so I wouldnt worry to much about it.

Haddoni carpets live in the sand, gigantea carpets(which need more light) will very often move up into the rocks.

I think the 6 bulb tek light fixture will be wider than your tank.

Speaking of t-5's (I apologize I'm not trying to highjack).
I have 6 x 80watt tek t-5's on my 220g (it is about 25" deep) would either of those nems be feasible?
