carpets too close?

Am I asking for trouble? I just got my new striped carptet, it's happy where it's at, I don't want to move it. It ate the 2nd day I had it. Am I asking for trouble when they touch? They're both haddoni's. 1 flourecent green, 1 striped green. Parden the frags - they'll move. Opinions welcome, both positive and negative, I'm sure there's both. There's also a purple/red sebea about 14 inches away, but shouldn't be a problem as far as contact.

Two haddonies touching should not be a problem. It seems to be different species touching that is more of an issue. Nice looking anemones, btw.

Since they are both Haddonis, it won't be an issue at all. When I was moving some rocks around in one of my tanks, mine were "together" for a couple of days with no issues.
