Castle Grayskull Theme 240 gallon Basement in Wall Ghetto Build

On page 1, I thought this looked like a disaster. Now I think this is awesome. Good job having a vision and sticking with it. Very original and looks so cool. Cheers.

I updated the thread a couple weeks ago. Not much has changed since then.

My tomato clown turned into a brute. My coral beauty and flame both had split fins thanks to the tomato. The tomato also began stirring up the sand in return fogging up the tank. Also started biting my hands when in the tank. It took a while to catch him. I tried a fish trap, but that didnt work. Ended up netting him and moving him to the sump. Next trip to the fish store Im going to drop him off.

A banggi cardinal found his way into the tank.

Looking at the past photos reminds me that I haven't seen my black (turd) cucumber in a while. I should look for him.

The castle is FINALLY starting to turn purple. Shouldn't take long now.

Quick update,
Lost power for five days due to a nasty storm that knocked a lot of trees down. The tank was down for two full days before I got a generator on it.
The check valve must of got stuck and the sump back filled and I had a bunch of water on brand new carpet.

Things got better. We wet vac'd the carpet. Fixed the tank to where it wont overfill the sump if the check valve doesnt work.

Surprisingly none of the fish died, the corals look to be healthy still. I'm glad the tank is big with a small amount of fish.

Lots of updates. The biggest was the addition of three 120w ebay led lights. Another 50 plus pounds of rock was added. The corals are doing very well on the new lights.

I lost my red mandarin fish. She acted like she had gone blind for almost a week. There was also some bad luck with some orange diamond gobies. One fish made it down into the sump and swam into the protein skimmer pump. The other one thought it would jump out of the tank. That was 45 bucks ****ed away in a week. Other than that the fish have been good. Tank has been really doing well.

My son got a tank for Christmas. Its a 15 gallon column tank. Currently it is home to three fancy guppies, an albino cory cat and an african dwarf frog. The tank is on his night stand right next to his bed. I made the back cave, cliff, waterfall background piece. It turned out pretty good. The tank is a lot of fun.
