Cat food

Just wanted to know if any of you have had problems with your cats trying to go fishing?:mixed: Right now that is my concern. I don't think they will bother the aquarium, but if they should the BC29 look appealing b/c of the full hood. On the other hand I am also interested in the AQ24, which seems to have endless options for upgrades. Decisions, decisions. Any thoughts?

my cats dont know the fish tanks exsist except when the one cat when we go to feed cause it likes to eat the food. O_o. only fish it likes is a loach in my 10 gallon, it could care less about the other fish which are bigger, faster, more entertaining

My cat is the devil when it comes to my aquariums. He sits next to my 29 gallon and hits the glass with his paws and jumps on the hood and looks down at the tank. Last summer I put some fish ina bucket when I was cleaning it and he ate my giant danio! Then this summer when my JBJ nanocube cracked I had my fish in a 10 gallon on my floor and I woke up in the morning and he was eating my jawfish (I don't know if he caught it or if it jumped to its death). I guess you can blame me for leaving the fish around him but he is pretty interested in my fish so do keep an eye out to make sure yours isnt the same...

Egg crate is your friend, and nylon bolts are a good idea if you have a true fishing cat. I knew one who could land her own perch, used her paw for a lure and bingo! perch sushi, right from the lake.

Some cats think they can walk on water. I knew another who made it halfway across the swimming pool on this belief. The rest was the dog paddle.
