Im gonna have to go back in tommorow take a pic, if not buy it that way Ill be even with myself at looking over 50 pages of stuff!!!!

keep in mind this fish only survives in low unreeflike temperture...like 68 degrees...mine died with a week after i ignorantly bought it

OK, I just wanted to say that I have two Catalina Gobies and I have had them for about 4 months now, and they are doing very well. I have researched and looked into them. Now here is the common misconception. There are Catalina Gobies that come from the Island of Catalina off of So. California. Those ones are coldwater fish, and are hard to keep in tropical aquariums. Sometimes they will adapt, but usually do not last long. Now, the other type of Catalina Gobies come from the Sea of Cortez between baja california and Mexico. They come from another island in the sea of cortez which is ironically named Catalina Island. There the water is much warmer and can survive in tropical aquariums. I currently have the ones from mexico, they both look the same, but I am sure their are minor differences.

Nope...The ones Im talking about look nothing like the blue ones...I need to go in tommorow morning to PetSupreme.....

Ive never seen them my eyes are hurting of looking so Ill just wait now....:(

my guess is the one you're talking about is the Zebra Catalina Goby looks like this

Hey hugo I can gaurantee you that Ive never seen this damn fish....or online...Its a coldwater but its none that Ive been able to find....Its so rare Ill call March(Pet Supreme) and Ill take a pic and post it on here.... Did you buy any ReefRoids? If anyone from Orange County is stopping by at Gabes I can give it to them then they can take to you.

Ill post a pic tonight of the goby Im talking about, thats if March has some in.

Sam

I bought a Catalina Goby a few years ago without doing any research. It seemed fine for a while in my reef tank 77-80F but found later that it needs to be kept in colder water to achieve any long term success. Just my experience.
