Cataract in fish?

I think my purple may have the first signs of cataracts.
What do you think?

Any help or info would be great.

How old is your Purple and how long have you had him? Any other symptoms other than the eye? When was the last time you added a fish/coral/invert to your tank? Do you QT?

Sorry for the numerous questions... Just trying to make sure it's not some disease.

I have had this fish for 1.5 years, eats like a pig, yes I qt, lantern bass was added 2 weeks ago. Tank is 2 years old, and I just used interceptor for red bugs.

HippieSmell has a point, could be Flukes. You could confirm this with a f/w dip. Or can you get a closeup pic of his eye? Is it just one eye or both? If it's both, I'd lean towards Flukes. If just one eye, I'd lean towards an eye trauma or like you think, a cataract (or something similar).
