Ive cuaght wild fish for my tank before here in miami, sometimes very easy. Most of the time i know what it is but i've gotten a couple strange fish too, one (what looked like a baby sheephead) swam right into my net! How cooperative is that, i think he thought it was a bit of green seaweed to hide in lol. I have never had a disease problem in my tank even with these wild fish. Now freshwater fish cuaght in the everglades is another story.. They are riddled with disease i have some kind of really pretty cichlid i thought was a peacock bass and thats the only fish we cuaght that has survived and even thrived in our albino oscar tank, he likes to play with the oscars they treat him like one of there own (big oscar is 7inches+ now) Every other FW fish we cuaght died of ick or hole in head.
