Caulastrea furcata and Caulastrea curvata Samething?

Well I bought a regular candy cane but I came across these two corals with different names and I was curious if these two are the samething. If not what makes them different than?

They are not the same thing. There are actually 5 species of Caulastrea: C. connata, C. curvata, C. furcata, C. echinulata, and C. tumida. Look them up on THIS PAGE to see the defining characteristics.
