Caulerpa comming unattached???

Within the last couple of days I have noticed that my caulerpa is "wilting" (for a lack of a better word) and is rapidly becoming unattached from the rockwork. What is causing this?

Phosphate undetectable

I think you have Caulerpa prolifera, right? I have never experienced it coming off of rockwork.. I typically have to pry it off with the jaws of life when it grows across mine. Any hope of a quick picture of the situation?

Wilting.. I dont know. You've got a lot of macro in the system.. how are your alk/pH levels holding up? Other idea.. my prolifera hates really high temperature.. 80F+. Yes, it gets it in the wild - living in the shallows in Florida water and all - but it doesnt seem to enjoy a 24hour high temperature environment. But.. that's just my observation.

I hope we can figure this out.. because after those suggestions I'm stumped!

Well I couldn't get a picture, large chuncks of it just started breaking off and floating. When I picked it up it almost fell apart like overboiled vegetables. I ended up taking it all out, it all came out pretty easily.

I had a rock with some grape caulerpa on it do something very similar while I was setting up my prop system. I used rocks from home, and some had the caulerpa on it. The cause, I believe, was the low temps (50-60). I suspect that isnt the case for you, just something I've noticed.

my system stays around 80, so I haven't a clue.
