Cave/Tunnel in rock work

Greetings,
Trying to do the rockscape on the new pony tank. We were setting up a cave/tunnel. Then it dawned on us that they could possibly get stuck in there. Don't want to be tearing down the rock looking fora pony.

Should/can we add the the tunnel caves if so what size?

Hi Fred, Ponies should be ok in caves and tunnels as long as it isn't a dead spot in terms of flow. Seahorses need flow everywhere since their gills are less efficient than fishes. They can tolerate high, medium and low flow and its good if their tank has areas that have all three. That way the ponies can choose what they want.
