CB Yellow Tang

Petco started to carry CB Yellow tang. Anybody have any comment on the coloration of the CB fish. They seem to be very wash out in coloration, thin.
I wonder if the coloration will intensify once we have them in our tank and provide good nutrition for them.
In the early days, same problem with clown fish. Resolved with better diet.
I would appreciate it if anybody with CB Yellow tank would get chronological progression of his/her fish.

I agree with you and they also seem to have some deformities with them too, much like the CB clownfish

@orion how big/ old are they the ones you saw?

Because I picked up a tiny wild caught baby 14 years ago shipped along with 40 adults , it was the size of a dime and still half see through. It didn't get really yellow until about 1 3/4"....


On the other hand deformities, can't be normal.

They were about 1.5-2 inches. Color are inferior to the wild caught of the same size.
