CBB in quarantine

I've had this guy for about a week now solo in a 12gal nano. I noticed that he's developing somekind of growth on one of his pelvic fins. What is it and what's the best treatment? I'd like to go as low stress as possible since he's quite the finicky eater right now. Seems like copper would be the choice. Any particular brand that is good? Any other treatment recommendations?

regarding his eating, anything I can do to boost his appetite? I've tried frozen mysis and cylopeeze. I know he's hungry though cuz he's picked nearly all the small red tube worms off the rocks. Live food might work but nobody seems to carry live brine shrimp or black worms around here.

thanks!

Unfortunately, CBB are notoriously bad survivors. I don't treat with copper so I can't help you there. But, the only thing my CBB ever eats are mysis, and pods. They are very hard to keep. If you can find one that will eat, they get sick, if you find one that isn't sick, they won't eat.
There are a few that take to prepared foods and that is usually taking live and mixing it with prepared foods gradually to get them to associate it with food. You can get fresh pods out of the sump or order online. I think there are a few here who sell them as well.
This fish is in a 12g nano? or in the 225g?
