CBB obsessed with his mirror image

So, I've had a CBB in my display for about four days. The first few days were great-- active swimmer and ate frozen mysis with gusto.. Then a few days ago he discovered his mirror image on one of the glass panes. Since then he's been obsessed with chasing his image up and down the glass, ignoring all else including feedings. The only time he becomes "normal" is with the lights out.. I've chased him away from the glass, tried covering the glass to minimize reflection, but he always comes back. Besides the irritating behavior, I'm worried that he will slowly starve as he ignores food in favor of trying to chase down his reflection..

Any tips on how to break this behavior pattern?

Thanks,

Try bright lighting in the room so the reflection is minimized. If he cant see himself because he can see out, then he might act normal.
I've had good luck with papering the tank over, but that doesnt sound like it worked.
If he's only been there for a few days he may just be stressed out... I know some fish will pace the glass.
