My tank is just about ready for a mandarin (1 year old tank with 75lbs lr) and I was wondering if my coral banded shrimp would be a problem with one. If it matters, the shrimp seems to be very friendly, not bothering any fish and I've had it for about 8 months. Thanks.
I have never had a coral banded shrimp be aggressive toward anything in my tank (at least not while I was watching it) although it lives in the back of the tank and rarely comes out in the open.
Thanks, I was just nervous because I thought I heard someone else say they had a problem and when I mentioned it in another thread, someone said "It will kill it". Just wanted to check around.
Mandrins don't have many predators. I think Soapfish are about the only predators of the Mandrins I can think of right off.My Mandrin and CBS have been in the same tank for 2 years , no problems.
