CC on upper Front St.

Anyone been to CC on upper Front St. lately? I was in there last weekend and man the SW area is all new and setup very nice. Oh and the new tank section included a look down tank that looks like it was just started. Corals maybe???? And a nice area for inverts etc hmm. Nice to see they are making an effort in SW anyway. Now if the hardware catches up maybe a decent place to shop in the future. I think they may realize that there is a lot of money they are missing out on. Or maybe just time to renovate lol. Hope that's not all it is.

I was there last night it looks nice the look down tank is cool has a center tank that spills over to another tank that recirculates the water. Nice

yea that has been up for a few months now. The set up looks good but they are still getting in crap for fish or at least were when I have been there. It does look like they are making more of an effort but then you look at the new tanks where the hardware is and they let them go to **** nasty. I think Rick just has to much pride to listen to anyone else..:)...lol... Hopfully some day it will turn around for the better.

Vince I was in there towards the end of last month and that tank was not there that old half round was still there. I heard the lady saying to someone they just set it up a week or two ago. We can all hope that it is turning around. I am a skeptic as well Vince. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Yeah the new tank hasn't been up long. Now lets see if he can get quality stuff in. The fish still look very rough. Skinny and some had what looked like fin rot?

Angela CC is Creature Comforts. They are on Front St in Binghamton.

Unfortunately, I don't think they will have anything in good health. Their saltwater lifestock is never well taken care of and the staff less than knowledgeable about the inventory. I hate to talk badly about stores but CC isn't any better than Howard (?) over at Livingston's. Neither place has a true passion for the creatures they sell and are just out to make a buck and will do anything to sell you something... even it means out right lying about it. I know... I've seen it first hand.

Very sad.

I know what you mean truebeliever71, the only local place I feel cares even a bit is Nature, and there is not much there very often at all.

I agree with Ben you have 50 posts at this point so make a sale thread and sell them here. Don't forget to put prices on them tho

I stop by yesterday at cc to check everything out. The setup is nice. There is a nice selection of corals. Frags start at $15 or $20, can't remember, and run up to $30. The livestock was closed off at the time I was there, but everything I could see looked healthy.
