this is simply just amazing. there should be another forum named largest reef tanks. one day one day

could anyone advice on the cool efficency of deltec eco coolers. By how many degrees can you lower the water temperature this way? Seems fairly limited.

Can't wait for this build to progress, truelly awesome. Damn it now I want a bigger tank and I haven't even had mine delivered yet.

what are the plans for lifting the tank onto the stand once it arrives? you must have ALOT of strong freinds!!, that would take a mass amount of beer and pizza if I called everyone up and said, "hey, I need you to help me lift a 1000lb. 1500 gallon tank"

you can rent a genie lift which has wheel and with 2-3 friends can be done.

10 guys would lift that easily.

100lbs per guy. Lifting it evenly is the tricky part.

The tank actually weighs more than 3000lbs. We will figure something out on lifting it :)

The stand arrived today. I'll take pictures tomorrow ;)

Here is a pic of our 230gallon temp tank housing a few corals and Lr. It's acrylic and I plan on using it for water changes in the large tank.

"Persona non grata (Latin, plural: personae non gratae), literally meaning "an unwelcome person," is a term used in diplomacy with a specialised and legally defined meaning. The opposite of persona non grata is persona grata. Term often used in International Law and Relations."

The stand is here :)

I used about 100 meters of steel in this monster stand,
and the only other place I have seen something like this is in a powerplant I worked at building.
