Center Piece Fish for a 40g tank

lol i have been so busy with work recently i just got home from a Job private security is very demanding but it pays well.

im not really into paying a couple grand for a wrasse i have had really bad luck with them im going to do some research on them and see what comes up im in no rush . when you rush things die and when you are talking about over a grand i dont wanna have a 1,200 dollar mistake do any of you guys have any articles on candy bassets ?

If you don't wanna do a wrasse a dwarf angel might be your best bet for a 'centerpiece fish' maybe a Potters or Goldflake if you don't like the more common Flame angel and Coral Beauty.

If you like the idea of a basslet but don't want to spend the money on candy basslets you can look at cave bassletts or swissguard basslets.

I have a Swissguard Basslet, great looking fish... when it comes out... which is never! So I have personally been unhappy with mine since you can never actually see it other than in the darkness of the rocks or darting round in the dark when it feeds...

Now I am thinking of adding a Royal Flasher Wrasse which are more active and can be seen...

I say go with a Venustus Angel. Mine is awsome , when i feed the tank with the turkey baster hell finish eating then comes back to the turkey baster to be shot with water streams from it over and over and he loves to play in the current as well. The fish has alot of personality and is always out and about. I get a kick out of him
