Centropyge potteri and SPS??

Centropyge potteri in a SPS tank, some experience? My LFS have a pair for sale.

Do it! They are a good fish and get allong well with others. Pairs are hard to come by as well, or atleast they are in the states.

I recently returned a pair. They killed a 12 inch slimer and were starting some other sps down that path.

have had one in my tank since this past August and havent had any problems- he is by far my most favorite fish

like all angels, they seem to be hit or miss- for every one person that says they'll go to town on your corals, you're gonna have one saying they're perfect angels (pun intended)

I have had one for 4 years or so. The only corals he bothers are montiporas, and then only when hungry.

I have had one for about 4 months, the same fish was in my friend's SPS tank for two years before that. Never bothers anything.

For what it is worth my Coral Beauty was a nightmare and picked at everything. Killed snails. Bullied new fish. If Centropyge angels are Reef Safe with a * mine was the *.

my potter's is an angel . Doesnt pick at sps, lps, or zoos.

My first one was pretty much reefsafe, when I got a second one, it wasn't. It taught my reefsafe one how good corals taste.

Mine picked sps and clams after being "reefsafe" for 3 months.

so far so good with mine in an sps tank after 3-4 months. I feed twice a day though just to make sure it never goes hungry.
