Ceramic Reef Plugs

Hi y'all,

I got the ceramic reef plugs back from Pottery By You. They are really nice!

Here's a link to my photobucket:

The square ones are 8Ball's creation. The regular sized ones are shown with a quarter for the size reference. The large ones on the left hand side of the third picture (featuring all three sizes) are the special edition by Beaslbob :)

Those who worked on them during the March meeting - please PM me so that I can get them to you unless you want to pick them up at April NARC meeting.

Hey Tomoko! Those look like they turned out great! If you don't mind I will pick mine up at the April meeting! Thank you very much for doing this Tomoko!

Sure! I got yours bagged together. Actually I cannot tell which one is yours and mine. Both our handiwork's are small and pretty uniform unlike those by Beaslbob and Chris. I don't remember the exact size and shape of Mariner's creation.

One pound of clay turned into approximately 10 to 11 oz of plugs (about 35 regular sized pieces.) Each piece costs a little over 4 cents. Ours are a lot cheaper than Boston Aqua Farm's reef plugs since a bag of 20 cement reef plugs is $5.00 plus shipping (if you don't buy it from CRA.)

Tomoko, I told you that the Mommy's would make better reef plugs because of all the Playdoh training classes we've had. Sorry guys. ;)

Haha, we sure invested some time in training :) Your kids were pretty good at helping you with reef plugs, too.

I'll just pick my crappy ones up at the next meeting. :D
