Ceramic Reef Plugs

Hi y'all,

I got the ceramic reef plugs back from Pottery By You. They are really nice!

The square ones are 8Ball's creation. The regular sized ones are shown with a quarter for the size reference. The large ones on the left hand side of the third picture (featuring all three sizes) are the special edition by Beaslbob

Those who worked on them during the March meeting - please PM me so that I can get them to you unless you want to pick them up at April NARC meeting.

Sure! I got yours bagged together. Actually I cannot tell which one is yours and mine. Both our handiwork's are small and pretty uniform unlike those by Beaslbob and Chris. I don't remember the exact size and shape of Mariner's creation.

One pound of clay turned into approximately 10 to 11 oz of plugs (about 35 regular sized pieces.) Each piece costs a little over 4 cents. Ours are a lot cheaper than Boston Aqua Farm's reef plugs since a bag of 20 cement reef plugs is $5.00 plus shipping (if you don't buy it from CRA.)

You guys made those big ones, but actually they shrunk to nice sizes, just not very uniform... hehe.
