Ceramic reef safe?

I use all ceramic rock in my SPS tank, no problem. It doesn't leach anything , I have no algae growing on it at all.

I have several of those ceramic plugs in my tank and never had any issues with them relating to phosphates. Even when I had algae issues, those plugs never had algae on them.

50% of my scape is ceramic rocks and its fine.
It cou leach a bit of phosphate initially so worst case just cure it in RO water for few weeks.
Ceramic has to go a cooking period in high heat ovens so I guess this makes it inert to leaching anything.

Encouraging, but see another person has heard of the possible leaching.

Do you know of anyone who has DIY their own ceramic plugs, discs, or rock? Have you heard of anything like that?
