Cerith Snail Laying Eggs

I grabbed a couple of pictures of a cerith snail apparently laying eggs at the waterline in the back of my tank.

Pretty cool. Pictures were taken about 1 hour and 30 minutes apart.

Those are Eggs?? I see that on my glass every week, I thought it was Poop! I scrape it off, now I am feeling a bit guilty.

Hmmm..maybe they are not eggs...they certainly look like eggs...this ones pattern is just a little off norm.

Dont sweat it, the first time I saw it I thought they were eggs also :)

I believe these are eggs of the cerith snail. I have looked up many photos and these strands are very smilar to some I have seen, although they are not as uniform in their arrangement as some.

Well mine look exactly the same and in a few days they end up disintegrating off the glass like decaying pooh. Maybe they are hatching and I cant see it but I know the fish show no interest in it and the snails only lay these trails after a nice big feast.
