I've had an explosion of cerith snails in my 90 gallon tank. I'm guessing a few thousand. I'm trying to pull a couple of hundred every night but it is slow work. I know cerith snails are supposed to be safe but is it possible that in huge numbers they could start to eat corals? They are always crawling on my zoas and acan flesh. Some of my zoa frags are losing space and shrinking and seeing little cerith snails hanging on their stems makes me wonder. I don't have any crabs and I have pulled all of my fish to go fallow and finally get rid of ice. I've seen zoa eating nudis before and I can't spot anything like that on them.
