i just got my first shipment of stuff -- not much

new reflectors and bulbs (i was a little suprised by the size of these -- i must have read the wrong reflectors -- i thought they were 22 inches square) reflectors are 15 X 15 and i got the glass too

I have just spent 2 days plaining down rough cut wood that i got for free (i was told it was mahogany ) (you couldnt tell what it was from the shape it was in I should have taken a picture) its just poplar wood looks like the stand is going to be painted black

The regular LumenMax is 22 1/4" x 22 1/4" and has both shiny and pebbled aluminum. The LumenMax Elite is 15.5" x 15.5" and is all pebbled aluminum. The LumenMax regular is more like a LumenArc....I think you got the better reflector.

so the Lumenmax is better than the lumenarc? I am actually looking at getting a couple reflectors to replace my hamiltons right now and I was looking at hte lumenarcs. any advice? I'm wanting a pretty broad coverage

the elites are nice i did a search and a guy had the 2 pointed at the wall the elite was briter than all the reflectors


nook i am happy about them i just thought they were bigger until i looked it up again

chad, you think the coverage area would be as good though with the smaller footprint? I think the lumenarcs are around 19x19 and I was hoping to get away with two of them on the tank so I'm going for coverage.

what i have read is 3x3 area


they have 8 parts to them (4 of them focus light in and 4 focus light out)

waiting on tank and have been working to much this week to start the stand

got the reflectors together

i got these and will have sand when setup (but who knows if it will stay)(probally do 2 more bags

also what are you going to use for flow. I never can keep up with your current preference!

flow will be tunze 6105 qtys 3 with 6205 covers and maybe a 6065 because i have it

return pump is a atb flowstar 1800

If the tank is on back-order for who knows how long, would the 60" version fit in the space you have planed for the tank to sit?

nope i am going to get the factory fancy stand because a stand that is 1 inch high is all i can get through the opening of the basement
