I recently found a store that sells chaeto. Anyway, I know it is a macroalgae and I know it will gobble up extra nutrients and phospates before nuisance algae gets to. This is why I got it. I have hair algae that will not budge and I am hoping that this chaeto will stop it. Right now it is a fist sized ball in my tank. I have a 14 gallon BioCube and it is sitting at the top of my live rock. I got a minijet to push water on it too. I might eventually put it in the back middle chamber and scratch a hole in the back covering and throw a light back there, but for now it will sit in the main tank.
So, now what? I mean, do I just let it do its thing or is there something else I should be doing for it. Any tips would be great!!
