Chalice Browning

So I have a hollywood stunner chalice that is growing fast but its browing also. I just moved it from the top to the bottom of my tank because I think it was getting to much light. I have 2 150 watt 14k halides on my 40 breeder, I read that they brown if given too much light is this true? Also what conditions are ideal for them?

As I understand it, brown means not enough light. Too much light gives rise to bleaching. Other variables may be at play, for light specifically, coral react as stated. AFAIK.
