Chalice coral placemnt

I just got this chalice today (I think it is a Hollywood stunner) and was wondering what the ideal placement would be. Its only shaded around a few of the edges and in a medium flow area. Will this placement be OK? Btw while I was mounting it, I accidentally chipped off a few tiny parts of the skeleton. Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks for any advice.

It should heal on its own. They like lower light so your cave could help there. Can't really tell on the flow issue every tank is different. You want it so that the tissue isn't whipping around or anything but you want a little flow so debris/sand doesn't settle on it and bother it. Since you're in that little cave there I don't know what type of flow you have but if I were you I would just check out what happens at feeding time does the mysis fly away fairly easily or drop like a rock. Worse comes to worst you can always move it and it can bounce back. I just read a bunch, set a frag down and wait. If it hates it, it will let me know and I can move it, no big deal.

nice tank.

the spot it is in looks fine. Keep in mind that Hollywood stunners can let out some nice sweeper tentacles and will kill almost any other coral in contacts. So try to keep any other corals away from it. When they are happy they can grow fast. I have one that started out the size of a quarter that's half the size of a dinner plate now in less than year and a half.
