chalice coral

Does anyone have any experience with these? I would like to know if they .........

(1) like strong currents
(2) prefer bright or moderate lighting
(3) prefer to be oriented vertically or horizonatlly.

I am going to do some pegging this afternoon and this info would help. Mine's color is great, but I only see his polyps peeking out a little.

my chalice corals have done well sitting on the sand in 30" of water under 400w mh. I am trying to remember, but I'm pretty sure I had them a bit higher in the rockwork and they were getting very light/washed out so I lowered them.

I have a few chalices. Mine seem to like moderate flow and lighting. I have mine on the sand bed and they are growing out flat and round. With higher flow I have had them send out their
feeder tentacles and they have stung other corals. With my lights
off and low flow they willingly accept food.
