Yer lookin' at four different chalice corals. :)

Plus the February shots are in my holding tank, which has a different light (PC as opposed to halides).

Why do they grow downwards like that... is it because there's too much light and they're growing away from it? Has anyone tried under lower light?

I believe it's due to the way I mounted them...

While IMO lower light is the key to keeping these beauties really colorful, I don't think they really grow up or down. I think they just encrust the surrounding area... So if the surrounding area was heading upward it would grow that way, if not it would grow downward.
