any criticism is welcomed, shot at f22 , 1/6 shutter speed, 320 iso. Still pretty new to photography so any tips are greatly appreciated, thank you.

one thing thats really bothering me is that i cannot get the whole piece in focus, am i doing something wrong or am i supposed to be image stacking to achieve those types of macro shots?

To get more depth of field, although not as much zoom, you could simply back the camera away from the coral. Your depth of field gets more and more narrow the closer you get to a subject, so if you back off some you might just get enough depth of field to get the entire subject in focus.

Otherwise yep, you'll probably need to focus stack.
