chalice on chalice hate crime

came into my office the morning to find my BGM attacking an unnamed chalice. it only got part of the corner of the chalice but its looking pretty rough. what are my chances of it making it though? i thought chalices were ok next to each other?

I have had chalices that were 2" in diameter put out tentacles 2" long and sting other corals, to include a different chalice. Watch them at night and before you turn lights on to determine how far each one can "reach" and give them the room required.

I have a nice sized piece of BG and it stung the crap out of a piece of ora sprungs stunner and it has recovered, I waited till I saw a little new growth and cleaned off the dead tissue and it has fully recooped! good luck

it looked like it had its guts out eating the other chalice. the BGM has short tentacles but it looked like something may have pushed it closer to the other chalice b/c they've been in the same place for the last month or so

do you have hermits in your tank? they sometimes will move coral while they are grazing on the rock
