Is it a common practice to cut them up when they get too large? Rainbow explosion is 6-8" with 50 eyes, hate to chop it

Not sure what people do in your city, but in mine they just hand deliver it to me so I can take care if it in my tank. ;-)
For real though, if it's getting that large, you can definitely cut it.
