Chalice trouble, help!

My chalice has a soft white film over part of it. What can i do?

Do you have a pic of it? What are your parameters and where do you have it placed? high, medium, or on the sand?

You may want to post this in the LPS Forum too, that's where the guru's are. They're alot of help with problems like this.

Most chalices prefer low light, and moderate flow. They can bleach rather quickly if blasted with to much light. However, without a picture it's kind of hard to comment.

its on the sand, all params are fine as are other chalices's right next to it
does that look like its been getting to much light?

The white stuff is like a soft film.

yea it looks like your chalice is bleached out just try to leave it in the shade for a couple of days
