Thanks, guys. It's definitely one of my favorites. It has gained a lot more white stripes since I took that picture, plus the green "eyes" have become much brighter in person.

Surfy, neat photo. I like the white stripes in it. I'd love to see an updated photo when you have a chance to take one.

Here's one of mine that looks like the mycedium robokaki that Tyree posted on his site. I've always called it the tortoise shell chalice.

awesome piece and tank, fussoverthis... any chance of seeing the rest of them? :)

Marvin, I've got to take updated shots of all of the chalices. It will probably take me a while to get them all. I've posted a lot of photos in this thread but I think quite a bit of them are prior to the thread split. When I get some new ones, I'll definitely share! :D

If it is put in low light, it turns all red. When I place it in medium to high light, it forms the grrenish-blue rim and the striping.

Sup everyone. I'm new to Chalices and startin to feel the bug. I'm typically a ZOA/Paly guy. With some SPS but slowly mixing in LPS in to my full reef tank.

Here are 3 of my new chalices. Nothing breath taking like some on these thread but they're ok.. Camera sucks and couldn't get the real colors and NO MACRO...

Nothing compared to some, but something compared to none. Hmm i don't think that made much sense but here is my pink chalice, the girlfriend wanted it haha.

Mine is sitting medium height with medium flow i have 1 mak 4 pumping at 900gph 2 hydor 3's and 1 hydor 4 that gives me a grand total of 3800gph in my 135. Hope that helps

Very nice:thumbsup: What happens if 2 chalice corals touch? Will they sting each other? I am planning to cover the glass of my BB tank with them any advice would be great. Thanks
