Ya, I like the Orange Sherbert. All the different colors in it are cool.

Here's a colony of RandyO's Blue Echinopora. Started out as a nickel sized frag a couple years ago. Its a good 6-7" now. ;)

Jabol75 what is that red with green mouths in the bottom right corner? Can you give me a hint as to where you got it? Nice new chalice by the way.

bower23: I believe you are referring to war corals
Alex: thanks - actually you are to blame; you have so many nice chalices:)

I've noticed that chalices seem to grow better on a sandbed. It almost seems like they pancake out on the sandbed.

I have mine all over the tank Sang, sand bed, rocks and highup on the main rocks.

Which position do your echinos grow the best in?

Btw, what lights are you guys running? I was using the Giesemann 13k's and just switched over to the Phoenix today. Damn, these are blue! I ran Phoenix on my last tank but had a couple whitish t-5's. Now, I have the Phoenix coupled with four blue t-5's and it's almost too blue.

funny thing is the pink with light hue of blue that grows the best which is mid/high on my tan. Almost to the highest part of my rock work.

How high is your watermelon? Do you think the watermelon likes high light? If there's one coral I could never figure out, it is the pink watermelon. Mine is currently at the bottom of my 20" tall tank.
