Wil...I've got roughly45-50 sm-XL full colonies and about 75 frags of which about 40-50 are different chalices. I blame Tubs He started me on it a bit over a year back. I think theyre great corals...low maintenance, varied color and so light responsive (color changes).

Here is a pic of an atlantis alien eye chalice from our local frag swap that I picked up.

Still just a baby. Pics were taken about 7 weeks apart.

Doing well here but way too busy at work. Johnny boy sure has infected alot of folks eh? He's a great guy. Although not a "real" chalice check out this lithophylon frag...sure turned a pretty blue

where can you find these coral?! I haven't seen anything like that here locally, but there's really only one fish store that carries anything and the only coral they usually have is soft. Any good places online to order from?

Thank you for starting this thread.. if not for this thread I wuld sitll be wondering what my coral was! I have a pink one.. I iwll post pics soon.. gotta get home and take a picture!

So which one is more rare, the purple with pink eyes or the alien eye green on purple?

Also what is the best place to place these in your tank, and what type of lighting. Mine seem to like lower lighting better, and I have lost color on one of mine, possible because I am running 20k 175's and not 10K? What do you think?
