Green with pink eyes - this was my first chalice. I haven't fragged it yet. The shot is under actinics.

Red w/teal streaks
This one was fragged from a chalice that had a huge bright teal streak in it. If you look closely at the flesh by the top polyps, you can see bits of teal coloring. This chalice has the largest eyes of all my chalices.

This, my favorite, is my newest chalice.

And last, not a chalice, but a brown-out frag special. Not brown anymore! This is under actinics.

that's a nice one. The second shot is a frag from Eric's Hot Tamale chalice. He has some pretty ones.

Good job Melissa! You're resuscitating the thread! Also on your score. I've been meaning to put up some pics lately and then my cam broke...BUT...now have a new one so will do some soon...I think I have about another 20 or so colonies since I posted last.
BTW....that super nice looking one of Erics is a real baeuty but I'd betcha a dollar it will eventually be red with the grn eyes. It will lose alot of that color variation you see now. Don't get me wrong It will remain a stellar red but I've had too many chalices start off in a multicolor fashion similar to the one posted only to become more uniform over the next few weeks. Nevertheless it was an excellent choice of chalice!

Nice ones Melissa. The first one looks like one of mine (one page 15 of this thread). It took a while to get acclimated but it seems to be growing well as of late. Hope they do well for you!

A LFS that I frequent has a dark purple challice, about 3"-4" in size for 59 bucks (my price). Is that a good deal for one of these?
