What does the chalice look like now that it's grown out a bit? The GF Watermelon/ Dino Skin one.

Does the afterburner look good in person? I was looking into picking up that one.

The Dino skin is a knockout chalice. It is a slow grower for sure. It is only now starting to develop a second eye.

That last one looks good sps4mytank. Now you just need to get the body to color to a nice green. Try giving it a bit more light to see if it'll do the trick. And oh yeah, it's not considered SPS

Alicia, it interesting how you mentioned fast and slow growers. I have the Mummy Eye and the Red Watermelon and the Red is definitely slooowwwwwwwww. After almost 2 years, it's about 1.5". My main issue is that although some of my chalices grow in size, they don't necessarily develop new eyes at the same rate. The Mummy Eye is about 3/4"+ and it only has 1 eye. The Red still has only 3 eyes. On the other hand, the SPStoner WM is covered with eyes. The one you got from me looks like it's grown lots of eyes, but a piece I have that's over 2" has only 3. Go figure.

I did direct feed for a while but didn't notice any significant difference so I have stopped. The effort didn't justify the results.

I just got me a piece of cotton candy challice from mr.coral.

Its been in the bottom of the tank now for a week. Should I move it up about half way my LR now? Also do I leave the frag on the base or remove it and glue it to my LR?

Correction Erin, the le stargazer was discovered by Brianbigoats and unfortunately, I believe he lost his colony You may be confused with my post showing the comparison photos...

The dino skin we got is nice. Mine seems to have moderate growth. Id like to get my hands on the stargazer... One of these days...
