I am setting up a new tank, 150 gallons.
It is going to be populated mostly of small fish as i prefer large numbers of small fish to fewer larger fish.
I will populate it with a mated pair of shrimp gobies (probably yellow watchman), a few dartfish, a pair of clowns, a mated pair of coral beauties, a harem of flasher wrasses with a male.
I am not looking to breed fish yet, I'm just a noob with salt, but I am curious: what are the chances of spontaneous spawning in my tank if the tank is properly kept and the fish well fed? What would the survival rate be if the fish are left to themselves with no particular attention to the fry?
