Chances of a powder blue and achillies coexisting?

I picked up an amazing achillies from Pacific island aquatics a couple days ago. It's currently in Qt destroying pellets. The LFS has a powder blue that has been at the store for about a month. Any chance of them not killing eachother if they were added to the display at the same time? Tank is a 210g. I originally planned on just the achillies and still will go with that plan if the two won't likely work but powder blues are one of my favorites.

Introduce the smaller fish first. Better it is 3/4 or half of the other one. After a few weeks when fish is saddled introduce the bigger one. Better if the smaller one is juvenile. Achilles is more aggressiv then Leucosternum. Leucosternum get bigger. I thing best Chance is adult Leucosternum and tiny Achilles.

It’s hit or miss. I had a Achilles and PBT in my 625g and the PBT was getting destroyed. They are currently in a 250g together and are fine so it’s basically unexplainable

Very odd. I talked to someone on another forum and he suggested actually adding more tangs instead of just the two. I may try a convict as well and see what happens. I have a 90 gal to move one into in case it's a trainwreck.

I had 5 yellows, 2 purples, a unicorn and the PBT and the Achilles and it didn’t matter... good luck

He was talking specifically about Acanthurus sp. tangs. He has a couple tanks with multiple achillies and powder blues. I’m going to Qt in individual 40 breeders and then add all three at the same time. Then just hope for the best. I’ll definitely be ready to pull one if needed.

im trying my luck with a purple and a black tang in a 180 after my ich issue is gone. it all depends on the temperament on the fish
